LIGER used to release free mp3 E.P.s on beatismurder's netlabel platform but recently decided to join the corporal pop shit business game.

Br'er is the remnants of Benjamin Schurr and Christian Mirande. Started originally by Ben in 04 as a result of not being able to release certain songs under his old band CAW! br'er has been sort of an idea and not a working band until late 06 when Ben and Christian first began recording together. With the aid of the kind musical talents of Darrian Scatton, Dan Angel and Ross Lipton, the first Br'er Album "Of Shemales and kissaboos" is the result of lithium citrate, sexual indifference, speed, homelessness, hunger, cats, violent fathers, and FM synthesis... oh and sadness, YEARS OF TEARS. (Friendships were made to be broken)

"I believe in punk and DIY, I still haven't grown up, so I book my own tours, manage my ridiculous schedules, and record my own records and release some.

I play old organs and keys and drum mach. I write pop songs but I like to fuck everything up live. Everything is live. Everything is analogue.

I have released six records in Australia and Europe. I have done two world tours and tons at home. I have played live in Australia, New Zealand, USA, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belguim, UK and Ireland.
